Louisville's premier summer music experience is back on the Great Lawn for its third year, and the 2026 lineup is stacked. Fantasia, Busta Rhymes, Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, DJ Kool, and Tonio Armani take the stage across eight hours of music, with curated food vendors, brand activations, and interactive fan experiences filling out the rest of the day.
Here's the part that makes it even better: the festival is presented by the Sky Foundation, awarding scholarships to students, so every ticket helps fund the next wave of music talent. VIP tiers get you table seating, food and bar access, VIP restrooms, and front-stage views, and GA chairs can be rented online or on-site. Capacity is limited and organizers are pushing early purchases, so don't wait on this one. You can also grab tickets in person at Better Days Records or Well Suited Men's Clothing.

Halloween in August? Absolutely. Louisville's spookiest weekend of the year returns to the historic Caufield's Novelty store on West Main with over 80 vendors, artists, and special guests, plus haunted attractions, horror and Halloween themed merch, and food trucks all weekend. There's an Adult Costume Contest, a Pet Costume Contest, and a brand new Battle of the Haunts Costume Contest added for 2026.
It's family friendly, walkable, and completely free to get in. Bring the kids, bring the dog in costume, bring your spooky season energy three months early.

The world's largest vintage car show rolls back into Louisville for the 32nd time, bringing more than 10,000 street rods, customs, muscle cars, street machines, and vintage automobiles to the Expo Center. Nearly 70,000 spectators show up across the four days, and beyond the cars themselves there's a massive swap meet, commercial vendor displays, interactive exhibits, educational seminars, live entertainment, and family activities.
The best part for spectators? Nothing is roped off. You can walk right up to these cars and examine them top to bottom, inside and out. Just keep your hands off the paint. Every vehicle is at least 30 years old, and grabbing discounted tickets ahead of time at O'Reilly Auto Parts will save you a few bucks.

📍 Iroquois Amphitheater, Amphitheater Rd

Two nights of smooth jazz under the stars at one of the most beautiful outdoor venues in the city. Friday brings Boney James and Marcus Miller, and Saturday follows with Brian Culbertson, Lindsey Webster, and Marion Meadows. It's a relaxed, sophisticated way to spend a summer evening, and a great pick if you want great live music without the big festival crowds.
Bring a blanket or a lawn chair for the lawn seating, get there early, and let the Iroquois do what it does best. Easily one of the classiest nights on the August calendar.
