Bernheim's biggest summer night of the year turns the forest into a glowing wonderland, and it's unlike anything else on the calendar. Set around the scenic 1.3-acre Lake Nevin loop and timed around sunset, CONNECT brings together spontaneous art installations, light displays, and kinetic sound reactive sculptures, plus local and regional bands across a range of genres, performance art, interactive dance, and drum circles. There's hands-on art making and science activities for adults and families alike, with food trucks and wine, bourbon, and beer vendors on site.
Best part? All ticket sales go directly to Bernheim's conservation, education, and environmental art work. Worth knowing: at over 16,000 acres, Bernheim is the largest privately held contiguous forest block in the eastern United States. Buy advance tickets to lock in the discount.

Seven 80s acts. One stage. One gloriously nostalgic night. Thomas Dolby & The Lost Toy People headline alongside A Flock of Seagulls, The Motels, The Producers, Animotion, The Escape Club, and Tommy Tutone. Forty years after the band's inception, Dolby reformed Lost Toy People specifically for this summer's tour, bringing in Divinity Roxx (Beyoncé's band leader) on bass and Mat Hector (Iggy Pop, Thom Yorke, KT Tunstall) on drums. Expect "She Blinded Me With Science," "I Ran (So Far Away)," "Only the Lonely," "Obsession," and yes, "867-5309/Jenny."
It's all ages with free parking right at the Amphitheater. A few rules to know before you go: no umbrellas, cameras, recording devices, coolers, or outside food, and everyone three and up needs a ticket.

Alt-rock icon Tori Amos brings her In Times of Dragons Tour to the historic Louisville Palace, presented by 91.9 WFPK with Bartees Strange in support. Amos has held a fiercely devoted following since her debut in the early 90s thanks to her emotive songwriting and unmistakable piano-driven sound, and fans can expect beloved classics woven together with newer material.
The Palace is the perfect room for this one. That stunning 1928 Spanish Baroque interior and the intimacy of the space make it feel like the show was designed for the venue. If you've been a fan for decades, this is a bucket-list night.

Ten dollars. That's all it takes to get into one of the best atmospheres in American soccer. Racing Louisville FC hosts Boston Legacy FC at Lynn Family Stadium in an NWSL matchup that's easily one of the most affordable live-sports nights in the city. If you've never made it out to a Racing match, this is the one to start with.
Great for families, groups, or a low cost Saturday evening plan that still feels like an event. The Butchertown location puts you walking distance from plenty of post match food and drink too, so you can turn it into a full night out without much effort.
